Precautions for cooling tower operation

The cooling tower is a cooling device that sprays the circulating cooling water on the packing in the tower body, makes it in direct contact with the air, and dissipates the carried heat into the atmosphere through evaporation and convection. There are a few things to keep in mind about its operation:

1. The oil level of the reducer should be checked frequently. It is recommended to use No. 22-28 hyperbolic gear oil or No. 90-120 industrial gear oil for bone lubricating oil, and oil with high viscosity in summer. Drain the oil after the first operation for 20 days and replace it with new oil.

2. The fan, motor and reducer must be checked according to the corresponding product manual before running. The wiring of the motor should be connected according to the wiring diagram provided by the motor factory. After meeting the requirements, start it up in sequence, from low speed to high speed. After the blade angle is installed according to the value specified in the sample, if the high-speed running current exceeds the rated value, the machine should be stopped immediately and contact the manufacturer immediately. The standard for the composite requirements of the fan blade angle is: A. Draw a line on the upper and lower edges of each fan blade at a distance of 150mm from the air duct to obtain the h value of the height difference between the upper point and the lower point, and the difference between the maximum and minimum h value of each blade shall not be greater than 2mm; B. The elevation value of the upper edge of the blade at a distance of 150mm from the wind guide, the difference between the maximum and minimum elevation values of each blade shall not be greater than 0.002R (R is the radius of the fan); C. The current of the motor is running at high speed Equal to 0.9 to 0.95 of the rated value.

3. If the quality of circulating water and supplementary water is poor, water quality stabilization measures should be taken, a side filter should be set up, and sterilization and algae killing measures should be taken when necessary.

4. FRP is a burning body, because the cooling tower should not use open flames during maintenance. If open flames are used, corresponding safety measures must be taken, and must be approved by the fire and safety departments, with full-time defense personnel and fire-fighting facilities present.
